The company operates through three segments: Energy, Ag and Nitrogen Production. Its Energy segment produces and sells (primarily wholesale) gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, asphalt, lubricants and other related products, and also provides transportation services. Its Ag segment includes global grain and processing, ag retail and wholesale agronomy businesses. Its Nitrogen Production segment consists of its equity method investment in CF Industries Nitrogen, LLC (CF Nitrogen), which produces nitrogen-based products, including methanol, UAN, urea and related products.
