A lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired the common stock of Walgreens between April 2, 2020 and January 16, 2025, inclusive, alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 against the Company and certain of its senior officers.
According to the lawsuit, Walgreens made misrepresentations concerning the Company’s commitments to implement measures designed to detect and prevent the diversion of controlled substances.
