Molson Coors missed analysts’ revenue expectations by 3.4% last quarter, reporting revenues of $3.04 billion, down 7.8% year on year. It was a mixed quarter for the company, with a decent beat of analysts’ EPS estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Molson Coors’s revenue to decline 3% year on year to $2.71 billion, a reversal from the 6.1% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $1.13 per share.

Looking at Molson Coors’s peers in the beverages, alcohol, and tobacco segment, some have already reported their Q4 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Philip Morris delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 7.3%, beating analysts’ expectations by 2.8%, and Coca-Cola reported revenues up 4.2%, topping estimates by 6.5%.
