Conifex Announces First Quarter 2024 Results

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 09, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Conifex Timber Inc. (“Conifex”, “we” or “us”) (TSX: CFF) today reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024.  EBITDA* was negative $0.5 million for the quarter compared to EBITDA of negative $3.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2023 and negative $6.9 million in the first quarter of 2023. The first quarter results were favourably impacted by $3.0 million insurance settlement for the loss of the Osilinka Logging Camp. Net loss was $4.5 million or $0.11 per share for the quarter versus net loss of $5.3 million or $0.14 per share in the previous quarter and net loss of $8.1 million or $0.20 per share for the year-earlier quarter.
