Conifex Announces Second Quarter 2023 Results

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 09, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Conifex Timber Inc. (“Conifex”, “we” or “us”) (TSX: CFF) today reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2023.  EBITDA* was negative $8.7 million for the quarter compared to EBITDA of $20.1 million in the second quarter of 2022. Net loss was $9.2 million or $0.23 per share for the quarter versus net income of $12.3 million or $0.31 per share in the year-earlier quarter. The results reflect reduced operating earnings on lower lumber prices and reduced shipments reflecting a curtailment of our Mackenzie sawmill for June.
